Frequently Asked Questions | MyQR.az

Digital QR menus, menu stands and multilingual restaurant management by MyQR.az.

What is a QR menu?

A QR menu lets customers scan a QR code placed on the table with their phone camera to open the restaurant menu digitally. No extra app is required.

What are the advantages of a QR menu over a traditional menu?

QR menus are more hygienic (no physical contact), remove printing costs, and allow instant updates. Customers open the menu in seconds, multiple languages can be added, view statistics can be collected, and paper usage is reduced.

What is the difference between monthly and yearly plans?

The monthly plan is valid for 30 days and needs renewal each month. The yearly plan is active for 12 months and is usually more cost-effective. With an annual payment you get long-term usage and sometimes additional benefits.

How are tabletop QR stands produced?

Tabletop QR stands are physical carriers placed on restaurant/cafe tables. First, a design is prepared (QR code, venue name, short instructions), then printed and produced on the selected material. Common materials are PVC/plastic or wood.

What is the difference between packages?

Compare QR menu access, owner, manager/cashier, waiter and kitchen panels, and table ordering separately. Features follow restaurant permissions. Current price, duration, stand quantity and support terms are specified in your chosen package and agreement.

How long does it take to prepare a menu?

Typically 1–3 business days. The timeframe may vary depending on menu size and number of languages.

How does a customer open the QR menu?

They point the phone camera at the QR code and open the link to access the menu immediately. No app download is needed.

Can we update the menu?

Yes. Prices, products, images, and sections can be updated at any time.

Do you provide an invoice?

Yes, an official invoice can be provided upon request.

Do you offer technical support?

Yes, technical support is available for all provided services.

Is myQR only a QR menu or also restaurant management?

myQR combines a QR menu with owner, manager/cashier, waiter and kitchen panels for restaurants and cafés. Menus, orders, preparation, payment records and reports can be managed together. Available modules depend on the agreed service and restaurant permissions.

Can guests order from their table?

Yes, when table ordering is enabled for the restaurant and the guest opens that table’s QR link. The superadmin controls this permission. When disabled, guests can browse and build a basket, then show it to a waiter; submitting an order is blocked.

How are staff permissions separated?

Each employee signs in with a separate account. Waiters handle orders, managers handle daily operations, and cooks use the enabled kitchen module. The order creator’s name is visible. Managers cannot create, edit or delete tables; table configuration belongs to the owner.

Who receives a notification when a dish is ready?

When a cook marks a dish ready, managers and waiters receive the table, dish and cook’s name. When a manager marks it ready, the waiter sees the manager’s name. Sound may require user interaction in the browser. Notifications are not guaranteed with the browser closed.

Which menu languages and branding options are available?

The customer menu supports Azerbaijani, English, Russian and Turkish. Dish names and ingredients need appropriate translated content. Restaurant logos and photos are supported. An optional dark-mode logo can be uploaded; otherwise the main logo is used.

Do paid and ready mean the same thing?

No. Preparation status describes cooking progress; payment status records payment for the bill. A guest may pay before the food is ready. Mark payment only after actually receiving the money; the button does not charge a bank account.

Can one or several dishes be returned?

Yes. Select one dish or use checkboxes for several, specifying quantities. Manager/owner approval may be required depending on permissions and order stage. For paid orders, confirm that money was actually returned. The original receipt remains and the return is recorded separately; no automatic bank refund is made.

Are receipts, PDF and report exports available?

Authorized users can view a bill receipt, download PDF and print. Receipts use an 80 mm thermal layout; actual output depends on printer and browser settings. Reports can be exported as CSV. This does not imply fiscal-register integration or automatic bank payment processing.

Can staff recover a forgotten password?

Yes, using an active account and its correct email address. The six-digit recovery code is valid for 10 minutes. Setting a new password revokes old sessions. Never share the code; contact support if you cannot access the account email.

Are reservations and coupons available?

Reservations, coupons and campaigns are available within the applicable service and permissions. Confirm which features are enabled for your restaurant when choosing a package. Coupon conditions and validity are checked when applied.

Will I receive a subscription expiry reminder?

When reminders are enabled, notices are sent to the owner’s registered email 3, 2 and 1 day before expiry and on the expiry date. Keep the owner email correct and check spam. Use the myQR contact page to discuss renewal.

What should I prepare to get started?

Prepare the restaurant name, contact details, logo, categories, dish names, ingredients, prices and photos you have permission to use. Specify languages, staff roles and whether table ordering is needed. Before launch, check mobile layout, table links, prices and a test order.
